Frequently Asked Questions
What is the structure of the BLSP?

In order to deliver the new Sustainable Community Strategy the Board have approved the following Partnership Structure

The BLSP consists of a Board, Executive Group and Sub-Groups, which cover the following thematic areas:

·         Economic Regeneration

·         Learning & Skills

·         Environment

·         Health

·         Transport and Accessibility

·         Community Safety

·         Children & Young People

In addition, there are other cross-cutting groups including  BEAN – Bassetlaw Elderly Action Network (linked to Health).

Each of the groups feeds into the BLSP Board.

Neighbourhood Management Level

Each of these work areas is also being delivered at a neighbourhood level by Manton Community Alliance through the Manton Neighbourhood Management Pathfinder. This allows us to provide additional support to the area of the District in greatest need. Manton Community Alliance feeds in to all the Sub-Groups of the BLSP, allowing best practice from the Pathfinder to be used elsewhere in the District. In addition, the Pathfinder team benefit from networking with service providers across the District, which allows more scope for mainstreaming the work of the pathfinder into general service delivery.
